1. Introduction

With the ongoing turmoil in the world and the current economic instability, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find projects that can maintain and provide dependable sources of value.

Fiat currencies have become less viable sources of value because the continued inflation of the base money supplies are constantly reducing our purchasing power.

2. Ideology

For more than 5,000 years commodities such as Gold and Silver have served as long term stores of value through its utility and durability, while in recent years, consumable commodities have received similar interest from investors because of their ability to provide the same benefits. The most important factor for these consumables is their ability to store safely for very long periods without degrading or perishing.

While commodities such as produce, dairy and agriculture have difficulty providing non perishable attributes, other consumable commodities such as crude oil and lumber add much more value because of their ability to store safely for long periods. This ability to resist degradation over time, gives it an upper hand in establishing itself as a long term store of value and utility.

Unlike other perishable commodities, they can also be 'stored' in bad markets and sold off as and when they are needed.

3. XRPellet Project Overview

Our project is simple. We want to provide value to the XRP Ledger ecosystem through the tokenization of our BBQ Grilling Pellets, which are being presented onto the XRP Ledger as XRPellets.

4. XRPellet Token Design

The XRPellet token is your digital claim ticket for the bbq pellets held in our XRPellet Vault.

The XRPellet Vault is the physical location where the bbq pellets will be stored until token owners decide to redeem their property.

When you buy an XRPellet token from our offering on the XRPL DEX, you are literally buying 5 lbs of bbq pellets that are held in our XRPellet Vault.

5. XRPellet Token Issuance

Tokens are issued from the escrow account and released into the ecosystem when pellet inventory is added to the vault.

Tokens will enter the ecosystem when we list the available tokens for sale on the XRPL DEX.

6. XRPellet Tokens in Circulation

The number of tokens circulating in the ecosystem will always be 1:1 for every 5 lbs of pellets held in the vault.
 

7. XRPellet Token Redemption

The interface to redeem your token for bbq pellets will be accessed on the XRPellet.com website.

When token holders redeem their pellets from the vault, the returned tokens will be re-deposited back into the escrow account and await re-issuance with added pellet deposits into the vault.

8. XRPellet Availability

Tokens will not be available for purchase on our XRPellet.com Website, but only on exchanges listing the XRPellet token (such as the XRPL DEX).

9. XRPellet Inventory Security

XRPellet inventory held in the pellet vault are 100% allocated to the Tokens circulating in the ecosystem and kept separate from any company assets. The pellet inventory in the vault is the property of the token holders and will be insured against loss and/or damage while in our possesion.

10.  XRPellet Ownership

Anyone bearing XRPellet tokens acquired through the decentralized network will posses all the rights and benefits of the token.

11.  Purchasing Non Tokenized Pellets

If you’d like to purchase our pellets directly without participating in the XRPellet token project, you can do so by going to our XRPellet.com website and purchasing in dollars.
 

Direct pellet purchases on our website will not be taken from the pellet vault.
 

The pellet vault is only for the pellets that are represented by the XRPellet token circulating in the ecosystem.
